NYGH 104th Founder’s Day

Our Founders’ Day celebration was once again livestreamed.

Students were given blue and yellow ribbons to wear in their hair or on their wrists. The celebrations in the classrooms took place via zoom and in 3 segments.

In the first segment, the day’s programme started with the Principal’s address. This was followed by a video in which students and teachers looked back at special moments in Nanyang. The Annual Prize Giving video covered the several accolades that accrue to our students; it was heartening to see friends of the prize-winners speaking of the them in a video presentation that followed the prize giving.

The second segment was conducted by our BOM/ABOM who took the class through the digital time capsule project and Chinese knot-tying activity using strings in our school colours.

In the third segment, students enjoyed a Founders’ Day skit done by the teachers in Nanyang uniform!

The celebrations ended on a cheery note as students participated in a Kahoot! Quiz on the school’s history and were also presented with some old-time classic snacks to take home.

Below are just a few of the photographs showing staff and students participating in the classroom activities.
